Home Nursing Agencies
A Home Nursing agency is an agency that provides services directly in order to deliver skilled nursing and home health aide services to persons in their personal residences. Agency provides services that would be required to be performed by an individual licensed under the Nurse Practice Act on a shift schedule, one-time, full-time or part-time, and/or intermittent basis.
View Child Support Payments
This site directs child support clients into their accounts, address problems related to mailing addresses and apply for services. It is a secured portal. Note: Individuals do not need to be a Department of Human Services client to receive child support services.
Children’s Community-Based Health Care Center Application
IDPH regulates Community-Based Children’s Health Care Centers – designated sites that provide nursing care, clinical support services, and therapies for a period of one to 14 days for short-term respite care stays and one to 120 days to facilitate transitions to home or other appropriate settings for medically fragile children, technology dependent children, and children with special health care needs who are deemed clinically stable by a physician and are younger than 22 years of age. This care is to be provided in a home-like environment that serves no more than 12 children at a time.

Assisting veterans in finding gainful employment is a top priority at IDES. Our staff provides veterans with priority of service for employment services (does not apply to unemployment insurance). In addition, we have nearly 40 offices located throughout Illinois with Employment Specialists available to provide a full array of services to assist veterans.

Prevent Elder Abuse
Caseworkers from local provider agencies – in coordination with the Adult Protective Services program – receive reports, conduct investigations, and work with older adults to resolve abusive situations. Information and resouces are made available at each of our provider agencies to help individuals identify, report and prevent elder abuse.
Cash and Food Stamps Assistance (SNAP)
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) (formerly Food Stamps) helps low-income people and families buy the food they need for good health. The program is managed by the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) of the United States Department of Agriculture. The Department of Human Services administers the program in Illinois.
